Credit Controller
We are seeking an individual with strong debtors management and collections experience, exceptional organisational ability, and the drive to perform in a deadline-driven environment.

Role Summary:
The ideal candidate will be responsible for allocations, invoicing, processing of journals, AR reporting, calculation of interest on customer accounts, reconciliations, liaison with auditors and collections
Responsibilities:
- Create and maintain accurate client accounts on Pastel.
- Verify and upload all supporting documentation.
- Respond to client queries and provide invoices/statements as required.
- Ensure credit requests are authorised and processed correctly.
- Maintain the Debit Order Master File daily and add new clients.
- Prepare invoices from signed orders and process on Pastel.
- Email invoices and credit notes to clients with all supporting documentation.
- Ensure credits are correctly authorised and recorded.
- Process and allocate receipts, debit orders, and bank transactions accurately and timeously.
- Follow up on outstanding accounts and escalate problematic debtors when necessary.
- Send monthly suspension notifications and report on recommended service suspensions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key debtors.
- Investigate and resolve invoice discrepancies.
- Ensure compliance with financial policies and authorisation processes.
- Load debit orders into the bank and Sage Pay on time.
- Ensure batches are authorised, released, and posted on Pastel.
- Process returned debit orders promptly and update records accordingly.
- Maintain accurate records of hardware, software, and configurations.
- Keep documentation updated for all routine processes and systems.
- Track assigned IT assets and participate in regular audit
Qualifications Required:
• Matric /Grade 12
• Post matric qualification in finance, accounting or bookkeeping (Advantageous)
Work Experience:
• 2-3 years working experience in a similar role within a medium to large organisation.
