Role Summary:

The SMME Access Build Coordinator is responsible for managing and executing all activities related to SMME access and expedited park builds. This includes overseeing surveys, coordinating contractors, managing build costs, ensuring quality compliance, and maintaining project documentation. The role focuses on delivering builds efficiently, within budget and timelines, while ensuring all technical and quality standards are met.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and manage SMME access builds and expedited park builds, from survey through completion.
• Schedule and oversee contractors, ensuring adherence to project timelines, quality standards, and MFN specifications.
• Monitor project progress via Mid Base, actioning updates and ensuring efficient execution of orders.
• Plan and allocate resources effectively for surveys and builds.
• Maintain clear communication with internal and external stakeholders regarding installations and schedules.
• Manage project budgets, including purchase orders, invoicing, and cost tracking.
• Ensure accurate documentation and record keeping to support project handover and completion.
• Conduct quality assurance checks and implement corrective actions when needed.
• Identify and report maintenance requirements and major issues to the Project Manager.
• Uphold Health & Safety standards across all build sites.

Qualification Requirements:

• Matric / Garde 12

Work Experience:

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in telecommunications or related field.
• Minimum 2 years' site management experience with the ability to read As-Built/Redline plans.
• Basic fibre knowledge is required.
