Role Summary:

The FTTH Debtors Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the full FTTH debtors function, ensuring accurate billing, timely collections, and effective reconciliation of customer accounts. The role includes managing debit orders, maintaining strong relationships with key debtors, and ensuring compliance with financial policies and procedures. Additionally, the incumbent will lead and support the debtors team to achieve departmental objectives and maintain high standards of accuracy and efficiency within the finance function.

Responsibilities: 

• Oversee the full FTTH debtors’ function from creation to collection.
• Process invoices and credit notes accurately on Pastel.
• Verify signed orders and supporting documentation.
• Ensure timely and correct billing in line with revenue assurance processes.
• Communicate promptly with debtors and supply supporting documents when required.
• Process and allocate all receipts, credit notes, and invoices.
• Reconcile deposit accounts daily and ensure transactions are captured accurately.
• Prepare age analysis reports and monitor debtor accounts closely.
• Send out monthly statements and follow up on outstanding debtors.
• Escalate problem accounts and recommend suspensions where applicable.
• Prepare weekly aged debtors reports for management review.
• Ensure all debit order documentation is complete, accurate, and authorized.
• Supervise and guide the FTTH Debtors team.
• Conduct performance planning, monitoring, and appraisals in line with company policy.
• Manage daily staff matters including attendance, leave, and productivity.

Qualification Requirements:

• Matric / Grade 12
• Diploma or Degree in Finance / Accounting / Business Administration (or related field).

Work Experience:

• 10 years working experience in a medium to large organization.
• Minimum of 3 years practical experience in senior role.
